The Granby COA Outreach Program offers information and assistance in applying for benefits, programs, or services; referrals to community services and agencies, assistance and support for crises and concerns (personal, family, etc.), referrals for protective services, advocacy, and more. The Outreach Program works cooperatively with WestMass Eldercare, the Granby Housing Authority, and other service providers. Outreach Worker and SHINE (Health Insurance) Counselor Diane Morgan is a great resource available for office and home visits. Her office hours are Wednesday and Thursday from 9-3, and she can be reached by email or by calling 467-3239 ext. 7109. SHINE Counselor Fred Thomas’s meets with clients each Tuesday morning by appointment and can also be reached by email.
The COA has a Food Pantry open M-F 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. available for eligible Granby residents. Please contact us to apply to be a Pantry client.
We also participate in a monthly Brown Bag program, available for eligible Granby seniors with help from the Food Bank in Hatfield. Please contact us to apply to receive a monthly grocery bag.
